Summer	No dogs from the west of the Harbour Arm to the east side of Hastings Pier from 1 April to 30 September. Keep dogs on a lead on the promenade all year.
Winter	Dogs allowed from 1 October to 31 March.
Also	Hastings' ban starts on 1 April, a month earlier than most councils. Hastings Borough Council's dog order runs to about 6 November 2026, and we haven't seen it renewed yet, so check signs on the day.
Fine	£100 fixed penalty (up to £1,000 if it goes to court)
