Dog-friendly beaches in Kent
The dog rules for 55 beaches from Dungeness round to the Medway, beach by beach. 26 allow dogs all year. Most of the others close all or part of the beach to dogs from 1 May to 30 September. Dover's bans apply from 9am to 6pm, several Thanet bays close to dogs from 10am to 6pm, and Pegwell Bay is closed to dogs all year.
